Head Over Heels for HJÄRTELIG

As the new HJÄRTELIG collection hits Ikea stores, it is time to follow suit and press the pause button for a little you time.

As you'll know by now, I have been working for Ikea for just over a year. Amongst many of the perks, one of them is that I get to have a sneaky first look at all of the collections that will be coming out over the year. As soon as I set my eyes on HJÄRTELIG, I could not wait to get my hands on it and see it for realssss.

In recent years we have all become more and more aware of the importance of our wellbeing. Be it mental or physical. The yoga hype has been on the rise and meditation on the tube is now as regular as reading the metro on our daily commutes. However, how many of us are really pausing? Taking some time to breathe and reflect? Taking time for ourselves and our wellbeing? Though I meditate and love yoga, I am as guilty as anyone for not doing it nearly as enough as I should.

Insert HJÄRTELIG- the limited collection that has been created on the theme of wellbeing and bringing that pause to our daily lives through elements of our homes. Natural materials, scandi shapes and soothing smells combine to help create a little sanctuary in your interior.

The HJÄRTELIG collection includes Ikea's first yoga straps, yoga blocks, yoga bags and mat. It also includes terracotta planters, scandi multi-functional furniture, decorative pieces, candles and textiles made from natural materials.

The next few images are from the Ikea PR package that can be found online. They completely encompass the senses and create that atmospheric, bohemian, chill vibe; centered around the theme of wellbeing in the home.

I have been guilty of buying a fair bit from the range. I have bought the rattan clothes hangers, some vases and the bedside table- click on the images to shop.

As a side note, this is not a sponsored post. Just the ramblings of an ikea addict. Take a look at the rest of the collection, I'd love to know what you think of Ikea's take on introducing wellbeing into the home.

Until next time,
Namaste readers!
